Energy Efficient Double Glazing

Our energy efficient double glazed units contain Low-E glass, are argon gas filled for extra insulation, instead of the traditional aluminium spacer bar our units contain a Warm Edge Spacer Bar, all of which greatly reduce heat loss.
Low-emissivity glass (Low E) is an energy efficient glass designed to keep in the heat, preventing it from escaping through your windows.
Low-e glass has a clear reflective coating which reflects interior heat back into your room, greatly reducing heat transfer.

Most older double glazed units do not contain low-emissivity glass and are not as energy-efficient. By replacing your existing glass with low-emissivity glass you can greatly improve the energy efficiency of your home, and therefore, reducing your energy bills.

Low-e glass retains heat even in winter, allowing you to use these rooms all year round.
GRS offer a range of double and triple glazed units incorporating low-e glass.
GRS Low-E glazing units have a low U-value. They can reduce the heat-loss from your existing windows by as much as 70% when compared to older double glazing with no low-e coating.
U-values measure how effective a material is as an insulator. The lower the U-value, the less heat is lost and the more insulation the material provides.
